Toshiba Satellite A355-S6879 16.0-Inch Laptop Review from Michael T Haryza. Good overall, despite difficulties., The laptop came in the mail and I couldn’t wait to use it. The glowing white lights as the accents give it a new and modern feel. And the sleek shiny black decklid feels like velvet at my fingertips. Yes the aesthetics are second to none, however the software was ok. Vista had a hard time using the sleep mode and screen saver to work so it took four calls to Toshiba to get it right. Also the Norton software that came free? Well it didn’t give me any protection – it only showed up just to tell me I have a virus, and Norton wasn’t compatible with Vista. Panda virus protection for this laptop is great. AND this is the best laptop I’ve ever had, I love it.
